As some of you already know Shihan Val Churchill 7th Dan, head of The Zen Judo Family and Sensei of the Meadowlands Zen Judo Club has made the painful decision to retire from active judo.

Her last session at Meadowlands will be on Monday 17th July 2006. The Meadowland Club will now be run by Sensei Tracy Collins 4th Dan (ZJF) and Richard Wells 3rd Dan (ZJF). Val will continue to serve as a Zen Judo Family Custodian.

On behalf of the Custodians and all The Zen Judo Family members I would like to thank Val for all her efforts in keeping the Zen Judo Family alive after the sad passing away of Shihan Dominic Mac McCarthy.
